Liberty Saga

Description
Liberty Saga is a mod that manages save files to combine the stories of GTA IV, The Lost and Damned, and The Ballad of Gay Tony into one chronological campaign. It adds chronological mission guidance, free-roam switching between Niko, Johnny, and Luis, character skills, character switch scenes, and previous-character encounters in the open world.

Installation instructions
1. Back up your game folder and saves. Ensure you are on a fresh install of GTA IV:CE v1.2.0.59, any other version is not supported
2. Install FusionFix v5.1.x and its ASI loader.
3. Download Liberty Saga & eWxtract the ZIP contents into the inner GTAIV folder beside GTAIV.exe

Main features
The mod's main features are the character switching and chronological mission guidance/locking. The mod includes custom switch scenes when switching to a character that you've been away from for some time, and being able to encounter characters where you left them off in the open world. The next chronological mission's episode will be flashing on the wheel, and the mission's blip will be flashing on the map so you know where to go/who to switch to.

The mod also includes character Shooting/Driving/Fitness skill levels, all determined by the in-game Stats. Some perks you can unlock include extra reserve magazines (the mod starts you off at a lower reserve mag count), improved handling, increased stamina, or being able to run while you have the phone open/on a call. These are able to be disabled in the skills.ini file if you'd prefer to play without them.

Requirements
You MUST be on version 1.2.0.59 of the game, any earlier versions such as 1.0.8.0 or 1.0.7.0 are NOT supported. Having the game on an SSD is highly recommended.

The only actual required mod is FusionFix v5.1.x, although there are plenty of other mods I highly, highly recommend such as DayL's Natural Timecycle for beautiful visuals and ChunkLeChunks's SISCO and DLSS-IV mods (godsend) for performance/fixing streaming issues. They are incredibly simple to install, and drastically transform the look and feel of the game for the better.
