FXO - GTA V Model, Texture and Map Inspection Tools 1.14.8

FXO is a Windows desktop tool for inspecting GTA V models, textures and map files before testing your mods in single-player GTA V.

WHAT IT DOES

- Preview supported YDR, YFT and YDD models, inspect LODs and examine collision data.

- Check texture dimensions and mipmaps and identify oversized textures.

- Investigate YMAP/YTYP references and missing definitions that can cause objects to be absent in game.

- Inspect supported ZIP, RAR, RPF and OIV content as part of an asset workflow.

- Inspect vehicle-related metadata and calculate JOAAT hashes.

FXO runs outside the game. It is a desktop application, not an ASI plugin, trainer or GTA Online tool. No FiveM server is required for these asset inspection tools. The standard application also includes FiveM resource tools.

FREE USE AND OPTIONAL PAID FEATURES

The free plan needs no account and does not expire. Read-only inspection has no time limit. Batch processing is limited to 25 items. Some export, packaging and automation operations require an optional Pro or Beast subscription sold separately on the official website. This download does not include a paid license. Paid access requires an account and periodic online license verification.

INSTALLATION

1. Download and extract the ZIP to a normal folder outside your GTA V installation.

2. Run FXO-Install.exe and follow the setup prompts.

3. If an older FXO installation is detected, use the uninstall workflow offered by setup. After uninstalling it, continue in the same setup window.

4. Launch FXO and open a copy of the mod assets you want to inspect.

Requirements: Windows 10/11, 64-bit. The desktop interface uses Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime.

VERSION 1.14.8

Version 1.14.8 improves the model import preview used when preparing MLO assets. It renders through a lighter path and shows a clear error if WebGL cannot display the model, instead of leaving a black preview.

FXO, its CLI and the NozawaTec installer support 14 languages. Language selection, EUP previews and translated status messages were improved in 1.14.7. The CLI also retains its interactive terminal interface, direct commands and JSON output.

Version 1.14.4 removed JavaScript obfuscation from the desktop interface and moved vehicle-part symmetry completion to local Rust processing. These changes remain. Existing native protection mechanisms, FiveM features and optional paid plans remain.

LIMITATIONS

Supported formats and features differ by file and game edition. Enhanced/Gen9 conversion is experimental and may produce unusable output. Not every model, material, interior or collision variant is supported. Some assets still need a dedicated editor.

Keep backups and work on copies. Reports are investigation aids, not a guarantee of compatibility or higher FPS. Test generated assets in game before distributing them. Use only assets you own or have permission to modify. FXO does not decrypt FiveM escrow content. No GTA V game asset archives are included in this download.

Screenshots were captured in FXO 1.14.5 with the English interface on 11 October 2026, so some details may differ from 1.14.8. Example assets shown are not included in the download. Some pictured operations require a paid plan as described above.

DOWNLOAD VERIFICATION

The installer is not Authenticode-signed. VirusTotal analyses from 15 October 2026 report 6/75 detections for the installer, 1/75 for the installed application and 3/75 for the bundled Rust DLL. Microsoft marked all six analyzed files undetected. Totals include timeouts, failures and unsupported engines. The cause has not been established. These dated results are not a safety guarantee. Do not disable antivirus protection for installation.
