Quick description:
- Applies unused chrome textures on most vehicles.
- Most of the vehicles rims will shine with graphics modifications.
- Adds many fixes (see Developer Notes).
Updates:
1.8: Vehicle model, texture tweaks and some unofficial fixes.
1.7: Camera view fixes.
1.6: PS2 style materials.
1.5: Tuning parts, +content
1.4: Fixes, added optional content.
1.3: Reflective mirrors.
1.2: Added some tuning data.
1.1: Removed bugged vehicles.
1.0: Initial release.
Description:
The aim of this modification is to improve the materials of the original vehicles as well as the consistency of the materials. Also, the (almost) unused chrome texture found in vehicle.txd "vehicleenvmap128" will be used on most vehicles, giving them a nice chrome look. Most wheels on vehicles will now work with Mobile reflections, with the intention of modernizing the vehicles. Additionally, It will also bring lots of improvements and fixes. It uses the original Upgraded Vehicles 0.1 as a base.
NOTICE/REQUIRMENTS:
- This modification is designed for Modloader, I do not recommend installing it manually.
- Use "VehFuncs", or you will get bugs.
- If you use "GFXHack.asi", I highly recommend installing it outside of "modloader", put it into your GTA SA directory to avoid unexpected crashes.
Installation:
Drag the "Upgraded Vehicles Pack" file into your "modloader" folder.
This modification will typically be in a lower priority folder.

BTW, can you fix this pack of wheels for us?

With the Skygfx 3.7 the chrome wheels works perfect, but with the last version of the Skygfx 4.2a is terrible wrong.
Did you have time to do it? A BIG THANK YOU

Round wheels > more poly > causing lag, definitely I won't add round wheel to this pack. Unnecessary.
I will make this pack compatible with Proper Vehicles Retex, no modified .txd

Another idea is making round wheels - just like ISDA has (https://www.mixmods.com.br/2015/10/improved-sa-default-cars-v0-7-2-carros-originais-melhorados/).
They look nicely, unlike squarish vanilla ones. What do you think about that?

They look nicely, unlike squarish vanilla ones. What do you think about that?

@KiloRyu, unnecessary, but still would be cool. Of course, it's hours of routine work, but i'm sure there are demand for corrections & enhancements in one package. Otherwise, if you want updated vanilla vehicles in your SA in 2021/2, you got to choose between fixes or ImVehFt. No combined options

Can someone explain to me why whenever I take the slamvan to the modshop and select "rear bullbars" the menu freezes and the only way out is to reload my save? It only happens with this mod and I cannot for the life of me figure out what the hell the problem is, the only thing that's fixed it is removing the mod entirely.
