Normal version is perfectly fine, but the prototype version has polished tin foil ball-like parts:

Normal version is great for RenderHook, though prototype version has some parts that look like polished tin foil balls.

did you try on the clean gta sa? first install cleo and then install imvehft. thats it. if your game crashed delete gta_sa.set in document folder. also you can send me picture of gta sa root to see what you done
