Mereka hidup didalam tanah atau ditempat-tempat yang gelap. Dunia mereka dihubungkan dengan dunia luar melalui lorong-lorong gua, setiap makhluk Banaspati memiliki kemampuan tersebut karena menguasai sihir Pati Geni. Konon katanya mereka suka memangsa manusia yang punya emosi yang meledak-ledak (marah) apalagi sampai terjadi hal yang melebihi dari itu. Mereka pastinya akan memangsanya.
